There are different sculptures from where one can choose the outdoor bird baths.  The sculptures are used to decorate the bird baths.  This is mainly done on the edge of the bath basin or on the pedestal.  The more complicated the sculpture is, the more likelihood it is expensive.  However there are still cheap, great looking designs that one can purchase.

Cheap bird baths range from 15 dollars to 20 dollars.  More elaborate baths, especially the fountain and solar baths can retail for as much as 200 dollars.  The cost is mainly determined by the construction material, the size of the bath, the featured style and other aesthetic features fitted in the bath.

For bird lovers, the price that one pays for the bird bath is just a small sacrifice for the joys that will come with attracting birds to the garden especially during the dry seasons.  Some of the common features to look out for in order to ensure that the birds are safe from predators is elevation details on the baths.  When purchasing the bird bath, one should consider ease of maintenance.  The bath should be easy to clean and refill.  Concrete bird baths develop moss, therefore requiring constant scrubbing.
